2025 Mid-Year Retail Vacancy/Net Absorption

Most submarkets and segments recorded increases in vacancy over the first half of 2025. The exceptions were the Central City submarket where anchor space vacancy declined due to a new 25,000 square foot Planet Fitness facility opening in Manhattan Plaza, anchor vacancy in the Perrysburg/Rossford submarket and both in-line and anchor vacancy in the South/Southwest submarket which all recorded reductions. Anchor spaces incurred 97,616 square feet of negative net absorption in the first half of 2025 while in-line spaces experienced 57,699 square feet of negative net absorption over the same period.
